FOR LADIES: HOW TO FLAWLESSLY APPLY FOUNDATION

Foundation is the base of our makeup, like the name applies is the anchor in makeup. When your foundation goes wrong, there is no hiding it, it’s out there for everyone to see. The problem most of have is finding the right shade for our face but this can be remedied by seeking professional help. Once this is settled, applying it flawlessly is next. Let us look at ways to apply foundation flawlessly;

1.Use a brush: Most of us don’t use a brush to apply our foundation, but what don’t know is you might not attain that flawless look if you do not use one.

2.Mix and match: Some areas of our faces are oiler than the others, so you can use a mate foundation on the oiler parts like your t-zone area and a dewier one for the rest of the face.

3. Prevent creasing: Creasing is almost inevitable, but it can be minimized. If you use an eye cream, blot out the excess eye cream with tissue paper before applying foundation.

4. Colour correct darker skin tones: Darker regions of your face can be prepped with a corrector to prevent dark purplish tones around the mouth and under the eyes Apply foundation everywhere: We are in the habit of applying foundation to our faces alone, but really we should apply it past our jawlines and even to our ears. This will prevent a difference in colour between our faces and neck.

5.Apply highlighter before foundation: Most of us use our highlighters after applying our foundation, but applying it before give a natural glow from within. Sometimes our foundation tends to look dull as the day progresses especially if you went with matte, but applying highlighter below gives you a glow.
