West Brom record signing Brown Ideye resumed training a week
after twisting his ankle in the Baggies’ 3-2 win over Hull City in the Capital
One Cup where he registered his first goal for the club.
The Nigeria international who missed his side’s back to back
wins against Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley 4-0 at The Hawthorns posted a
comeback message on Twitter ahead of Saturday’s trip to Liverpool.
The 26 year old forward posted via his twitter handle:
“Getting better by the day #GreatGod.”
He had earlier revealed that his ankle wasn’t 100% good to
play prior to the game against Burnley.
The Baggies followed up their shock 1-0 win away to
Tottenham Hotspur by thumping Burnley 4-0 at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.
Alan Irvine’s side sit tenth in the Premier League table
after six games with Ideye making three appearances. His only goal since
joining the club was against Hull in the Capital One Cup.
